Jessica D. Winder has been sitting in on the decisions since 2012, and she has seen what happens when leadership gets it right, gets it wrong, and leaves HR to clean up the mess. Her career has taken her from a crime scene cleanup company to a telehealth startup, a GM subsidiary, and a demand acceleration agency. Today, she serves as Chief People Officer at Winder Law Firm, while building a career around the thing she does best: saying the part out loud that everyone else is thinking.

Kayshia Kruger is an organizational psychologist and VP of People & Organizational Development at O.R. Colan Associates (ORC), a private equity–backed infrastructure professional services firm, where she leads the People & OD function — talent acquisition, HR business partnership, total rewards, learning & OD, people operations, and change management — in a period of rapid growth and transformation.
Her focus is a people function that is genuinely people-first and AI-fluent — one that can sit at the same table as the CFO, the CTO, and the PE operating partner and speak the language of enterprise value.
She co-chairs ORC’s AI Council alongside the company’s Chief Technology Officer. She also founded Paradigm Shifts, a boutique OD and AI consultancy, and teaches Applied AI for Organizational and Talent Strategy as adjunct faculty at Queens University of Charlotte.
She earned a bachelor’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from East Stroudsburg University and a master’s in Organizational Development from Queens University of Charlotte, and is a doctoral candidate in Organizational Learning and Leadership at UNC Chapel Hill. She is an executive coach, a Prosci-certified change practitioner, and certified in the Workplace Big Five and Actualized Leader Profile assessments.
