About the Event

WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Senior HR leaders at companies with 200–5,000+ employees. CHROs, Chief People Officers, VPs of HR, Heads of People, and Directors with strategic scope. If you're making enterprise-level people decisions and managing (or influencing) HR tech budgets, you belong here.
HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER HR CONFERENCES?
Safe Space Summit is invitation-only, application-based, and capped at 200 people – every one of whom has been vetted. There's no expo hall, no sponsor floor, no panels designed for LinkedIn. It's a retreat built for candor, relationships, and the conversations that don't happen at typical events.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
$0. Safe Space Summit is a hosted attendee event. Your travel (up to $550), hotel, and most meals are covered. The only requirement is completing 4-6 solution provider meetings over the course of the event. Please note that we do require a $1 fully-refundable deposit for approved guests. This will be refunded after the event concludes, providing that you fulfill all the hosted attendee requirements.
WHO WILL I MEET?
200 senior HR leaders who applied to be there. CHROs, CPOs, VPs, and Heads of People from companies of 250 to 5,000+ employees.

The Hosted Attendee Program

HOW DOES THE MEETING FORMAT WORK?
Solution providers request time with you based on your profile. You approve or decline. Meetings are 20 minutes, and scheduled into the program alongside meals, activities, and sessions.
WHAT IF I DON'T MEET MY MEETING MINIMUM?
If you don't complete your required meetings, your travel reimbursement will not be processed and your hotel costs will be passed to you. For more details, please read our terms + conditions.
CAN I BRING A COLLEAGUE?
Each attendee must apply individually. We can approve attendees from the same company if both meet the criteria, but they'll each need to complete their own meeting minimum.

Signing Up

HOW DO I APPLY?
Click "Apply to Attend" anywhere on this site. The application takes about 5 minutes. We review every application manually and will follow up within 1–2 weeks.
WHEN WILL I HEAR BACK?
Within 1–2 weeks of applying. If we need more information, we'll reach out. If you're accepted, you'll receive a confirmation with next steps. If you're not a fit for this year, you may be added to a waitlist for future events.
IS THERE A WAITLIST?
Yes. If the event fills before your application is reviewed, you'll be placed on a waitlist. We work through the waitlist as spots open up, typically through September.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL LAST MINUTE?
Our cancellation policy is outlined in the terms + conditions. Short answer: it depends on how close to the event you cancel. The earlier you let us know, the better.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO ARRIVE LATE OR LEAVE EARLY DUE TO FAMILY OBLIGATIONS?
Reach out to our team and we'll do our best to accommodate. Partial attendance may affect your eligibility for full travel reimbursement. For more details, see our terms + conditions.
HOW DO I SHARE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS OR SPECIAL NEEDS?
After you're accepted, you'll be asked about dietary needs and accessibility accommodations. We take this seriously and will do our best to make sure every person feels taken care of.
